Four postdoctoral positions available with BCI EDGE

The BCI Evolutionary Dynamics and Genomic Ecology (BCI EDGE) project is recruiting four postdoctoral research fellows to join an international collaboration studying the evolutionary processes that maintain tropical forest diversity.

The positions span population and landscape genomics, community genomics and density-dependent selection, experimental studies of selection during the seed-to-seedling transition, and comparative and evolutionary genomics. Fellows will work with researchers at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI), the University of California, Berkeley, Oregon State University, The University of Texas at Austin, and the University of South Florida.

• Community genomics and selection within the BCI 50-hectare forest dynamics plot
• Experimental tests of selection during the seed-to-seedling transition
• Population, comparative and evolutionary genomics at UC Berkeley

Each appointment is for two years with the possibility of extension. International applicants are encouraged to apply.
