A couple of quick but important updates:

New VPN and Associates Access

Access for Associates on the new VPN is under consideration. I expect to hear an update on this next week. Associates have not been notified directly about the new VPN, but of course some have heard and are asking us about it. If you get a question from an associate about accessing the new VPN, please assign the ticket to David McMorries for reply. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please contact me (Kirsten).

VPN Exception Request Process

As a reminder, please review the exception request process for the new VPN: https://oregonstate.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1935/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=109455

Customers who need a VPN exception should be directed to have their department IT fill out the exception form, which routes to Tom Ordeman in OIS. If the sponsor for the external person is a CN customer, we can fill out the form for them. Alternatively, you can change the form on an existing ticket to “VPN Exception Request”. If you do that, please make sure to fill out the required fields and assign the ticket to Tom.

ONID Username Changes for Exchange Online Users On Hold

An issue was discovered recently with username changes since the move to Exchange Online. IAM are reworking the scripted process now, and all ONID username changes are on hold until that is complete.

Please let customers who request username changes know that we will get back to them when the process is up and running again.

7/9/2020 Update: Students and other non-Exchange users can still have username changes. This issue only affects Exchange Online mailbox users.
