Schedule

Here’s our anticipated schedule for the course. The dates are solid, but the content covered on any particular date may evolve as we progress – we may need to accommodate weather limitations on access to field sites. Note that the course meets each Tuesday evening by Zoom, and on five Fridays. Three Sundays are held as potential burn days – you need to hold all of them on your calendar. We’ll burn on the first of those Sundays that has acceptable weather and fuel conditions.

Sep 27 (Fri). Classroom (In person). 1:00 – 4:50 p.m. Course introduction, logistics, schedule, expectations; fire effects and ecological considerations; burn objectives and burn plans.
