The Oregon State University Extension Service in Deschutes County will welcome the runners at the Deschutes County Extension office in Redmond on the afternoon or evening of August 2nd. They will have some welcoming and commemorative words for the occasion in the Gardens. At this time outdoor activities are under discussion.
The Deschutes County Fair will be in full swing. The 4-H Auction will run from noon to 6pm (approx.). The Rodeo and Entertainment for that night will be starting around 6pm.

Extension staff in Deschutes County offer programs and assistance in Horticulture, Forestry & Natural Resources, 4-H & Youth Development, Family and Community Development, and Nutrition Education.
