Our staff and 4-H you participating in after school running clubs will meet at the Extension office to welcome the runners. We will provide healthy snacks for everyone. Around 4:30 pm everyone will run together to Old Town St. Helens (Columbia County Courthouse) to the 13 Nights on the River music festival. The runners will be welcomed on stage for a few minutes to talk about their run. We will also have a booth at the festival with information about our Oregon State University Extension Service programs
The Oregon State University Columbia County Extension Service serves the residents of Columbia County, providing knowledge from universities nationwide. We provide research-based information to families, youths, schools, agricultural producers, home gardeners, foresters and governments.
Our office offers a variety of programs, which include 4-H Youth Development, Home Gardening, Agriculture and Small Farms, Family and Community Health, Forestry & Natural Resources and Master Gardeners.
