Know Your Rights Webinar
Student Legal Services and the Office of International Services will host a Know Your Rights webinar via Zoom on Tuesday, February 11 from 4:30-5:30 PM related to immigration laws. This is primarily intended for students, yet all are welcome to attend to get updates to immigration policy, Know Your Rights info, Oregon’s sanctuary laws, and services available for international students. Learn how to understand and protect your rights with law enforcement and better prepare for potential interactions with immigration officers (i.e., ICE, HSI, CBP). We encourage all student participation, as community knowledge increases community safety. There’ll also be time for an anonymous Q&A session. OSU Corvallis students can access free legal advice and representation with Student Legal Services on a wide range of legal matters; just e-mail ASOSU@AccessTheLaw.org or visit SEC 232 to request an meeting.
OSU Sexual Health Fair
Hosted by the Center for Advocacy, Prevention & Education (CAPE), the Sexual Health Fair on Wednesday, February 12 from 11 AM to 2:30 PM in the SEC Lobby highlights sexual health and on- and off-campus resources and community partners who promote and support healthy sexuality, consent, reproductive justice, and other aspects of sexual health. All are welcome to learn about sexual health services available on campus and in Corvallis and access free resources. There’s also still time to sign up to host a table at the event if interested.

Child Family Health International Internship Info Session
Looking for both international experience and internship experience? Child Family Health International (CFHI), a nonprofit offering global health training, is partnering with IE3 Global and OSU Global Opportunities (OSU GO) to offer several internship opportunities. Tune in to the virtual info session on Wednesday, February 12 from 12-1 PM.

Just come to this resume review event sponsored by DSP Connections, an excellent Salem-based employer serving children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Government Recruiters Teach Government Job Apps
Interested in navigating the government job application process for city, county, state, or federal positions? We’ll show you how to create strong government applications. Join a state government employee to learn the best ways to apply for state jobs, and career advisors Nate Scott (College of Forestry) and Katie Harvey (College of Agricultural Sciences) will cover the basics on USAJOBS, federal resume best practices, and the federal hiring freeze. You’ll also learn how to apply for city / county positions and get resources on equivalent roles within at the state / federal level. JEDI Hub is Open!
The Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Hub is a safe gathering space for students who wish to advance justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Among other services, the JEDI hub offers free printing, a lending library, and even free snacks. Take a break from studying, and enjoy this cozy new space. Check out their winter term hours!
