Upcoming Opportunities
Join the Student Health and Wellbeing Advisory Board
The Student Health and Wellbeing Advisory Board (SHAB) is accepting new member applications for the 2026-2027 school year and would love for you to apply! SHAB is a student-led organization that partners with other campus organizations to represent and advocate for student health and wellbeing needs. It’s a chance to be a leader; not only will your voice be heard, but you can make sure other students are heard as well. We meet on Mondays from 4–5 PM every term and occasionally for voluntary on-campus events. Access the Student Health and Wellbeing Advisory Board application here; apps are due by Sunday, May 10.

Just complete this short online form to sign up with a CAFE Peer Mentor.
Virtual Workshop: Searching for Jobs and Internships
It’s not too late to find a great job or internship for this summer or beyond, as many employers are still actively recruiting Beavers! To learn more, check out the Career Development Center’s virtual Getting a Damn Job workshop on Tuesday, May 12 from 5–6 PM. You’ll gain critical tips and strategies to streamline your search and help you find the right career opportunity before the summer arrives. You may register for our workshop via this link and contact Fred Polinder with any questions.

Virtual Workshop: Academic Success for Learners with ADHD
Join us for a virtual workshop on Tuesday, May 5 from 3–4 PM to explore strategies that support academic success while working with ADHD instead of fighting against it. We’ll discuss how ADHD impacts focus, planning, and emotional regulation; introduce wellness practices that aid brain function; and share practical strategies for studying and learning with ADHD. Participants will also learn approaches for strengthening self-advocacy skills and connecting with resources designed to support students with ADHD. Register for this workshop via this link, and reach out to Leela Magdaleno, Ecampus Success Coach, with questions.
New Minor: Social Change for Health
The Social Change for Health minor explores how social, economic, and political factors shape health outcomes and how we can create a more just, equitable system. You’ll design and evaluate policies and programs that improve lives, reduce health disparities, and support healthier, more inclusive communities. It’s a good fit if you’re interested in health equity, advocacy, community engagement, or systems-level change. Plus, it’s only 27 credits and available to both Ecampus and Corvallis campus students.
