Carrington named fellow in microbiology academy

Professor James Carrington is a newly elected Fellow at the American Academy of Microbiology. One of 72 microbiologists to be elected, James was selected based on his record of scientific achievement and original contributions that have advanced microbiology. James is the Director for the Center for Genome Research and Biocomputing at OSU.

The Zoology Department had a little celebration today in honor of Charles Darwin, complete with a cake worthy of a 200th birthday:
