The weekend of October 28-29 marked Homecoming 2016 at OSU. Graduates from the classes of 1966, ’76, ’86, ’96, and ’06 gathered to catch up, some even reconnecting with old friends after 50 years!
From opening and owning their own pharmacies to working in unique locations around the world—this group of alumni have done amazing things that make us all proud to be Beavers.
Alumni together for reunion lunch social during Homecoming 2016
On Saturday, Oct 29th, 2016 the pharmacy classes of ’66, ’76, ’86, ’96, and ’06 shared lunch in the Horizon Room of the Memorial Union. These alumni enjoyed lunch, mingled with faculty and administration, and compared class pictures while reminiscing amongst classmates. A special aspect of the social included having current P2 pharmacy students Anna Krykun, Kate Rowland, and Nhien Nguyen joining them for lunch to compare stories of past and present pharmacy school experiences with alumni.
After the social, reunion attendees where joined by other alumni, students, and faculty who met at the Pharmacy Building for the annual Dean’s Coffee. Alumni were welcomed back to the college by current pharmacy students who greeted these special guests as they returned to the building where they spent so much of their time during pharmacy school. Many alumni took the opportunity to have pictures taken while sitting in the same seat that they occupied in Room 305.

Before the game, some of our recent graduates from the Classes of 2011-2016, attended the College of Pharmacy Young Alumni Tailgater where they greeted friends, enjoyed great food, and spent time back in Corvallis.
Next year, the College will host the reunions of the “7s”! If you are in the class of 1957, 1967, 1977, 1987, 1997, or 2007, look for emails and postcards with reunion details for your class.
