This is my first blog post, so I am planning to introduce myself.
From Japan
First of all, I am Japanese. English is not my first language, and I am not good at writing something in English. However, do not worry if you are grouped with me because I am maintaining a GPA of 4.00 at Oregon State University.
I am a current student enrolled in Oregon State University’s College of Engineering, with a focus in artificial intelligence. Before I moved to the U.S, I was majoring Mathematic and Physics at the Japanese Science University. I spent at least 10h per day over the entire year for the entrance examination, and I entered the University. The reasons why I left that University is going to be long story. In short, I was so tired to follow the Japanese school curriculum that is not for my future. At the time, I had lost the reasons to study for liberal arts. I realized that I am using IT everyday, and studying IT could be the best choice for my future. This is how I moved to the U.S.
Hobby – Competitive Programming
Participating competitive programming contests is one of my hobbies. I love to solve problems and studying algorithms. When I started to learn programming, I was not sure what I should do and what I can do by using programming languages that I learned in classes. Therefore, I participated competitive programming contests to use my knowledges of algorithms and skills of programming that I learnt. This is the reason I code in C++. My current interests is learning AI and algorithms.
Pets
Here is the picture of me and my cats, Ophelia and Toulouse. I just want to share my cute cats.

Thanks for reading my blog. I am planning to upload more blogs about my job and projects in class sooner.
