We invite presenters from the 2024 Phish Studies Conference to submit expanded and revised versions of their conference presentations to be considered for publication in an edited volume to be submitted for review by an academic press.
Submissions should be a maximum of 8,000 words (including notes), follow Oxford manuscript preparation guidelines and house style, and use Chicago Endnote citation format. Email completed chapters to phishstudies@oregonstate.edu no later than 2/15/25.
If your paper uses song lyrics, your submission must be accompanied by a separate document that lists, for each instance: 1) the lyric, 2) page #, 3) song, and 4) purpose of the reference.
Additionally, song lyrics must be treated as academic references. They should be quoted, cited in endnotes, and listed in bibliographies using the following formats:
