- Have you ever had a question about your teaching that you wanted to investigate? The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, often called “SoTL,” includes a growing international, cross-disciplinary group of researchers pursuing the study of teaching, as well as how students learn best. This QT Talk describes SoTL as one way to practice teaching as a discipline. Participants will be introduced to SoTL, see example SoTL projects and methods, and consider ways they might combine their teaching and research through a SoTL project.
