Oregon Climate Service

The Oregon Climate Service is recognized by the American Association of State Climatologists as Oregon’s state climate office. Established in the 1970s, OCS is hosted by the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University and the Oregon Climate Change Research Institute.

The state climatologist, Larry O’Neill, is a member of the state’s Water Availability Supply Committee and Drought Readiness Council.
