An online, interactive version of the Tribal Climate Adaptation Guidebook was released in summer 2022.
The Oregon Climate Change Research Institute and Adaptation International created this guidebook to provide a framework for climate-change adaptation planning in the context of existing Tribal priorities. The guidebook builds on ongoing climate-related work in Tribal communities, directly considers the distinct context of Indigenous communities, and identifies opportunities and guidance for incorporating Traditional Knowledges on the basis of the Climate and Traditional Knowledges Workgroup’s Guidelines for Considering Traditional Knowledges (TKs) in Climate Change Initiatives.
