Dominique Bachelet
Research Associate
Dominique’s research in academia and nongovernmental organizations since 1989 has focused on global climate change impacts, and she has been involved with several reports by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change since 1995. Dominique contributed to the development of the first dynamic global vegetation model (MC1), which included a prognostic fire model. In 2017 she was elected as a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Dominique also is a member of the Oregon Watercolor Society and the vice president of the Corvallis Art Guild.

Assistant State Climatologist of Oregon
Assistant Professor, Oregon State University
Nick Siler has been an Assistant Professor of Atmospheric Science at Oregon State University since 2018. His research spans a wide range of topics in climate science and meteorology, much of it focused on the water cycle (evaporation and precipitation) and its response to climate change. Nick grew up in a small town in eastern Washington. He earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Harvard in 2005, and spent the next four years serving as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force. He earned a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from the University of Washington in 2015.
