I decided for the gender lens project to tackle the product, Barbie Smarthouse. I thought that this would be interesting to do because when I was younger i played with Barbies and had a playhouse that was probably a precursor product to this. I had quite a bit of success in my research because this is a very big product for Barbie and it is pretty new as well. Plus, there were many places where I could find sources about this topic so I think that will make it easy. Contact with the librarians was easy when necessary so it helped as well to fill in the gaps. Overall, this project will bee fun because all the necessary components are there and I get to put it together.
