    Andy is off to Panama for the summer to begin the field work associated with our NSF funded project on tropical seedling response to drought under climate change.  The project is based in Gamboa, Panama at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute.  We’ll be mapping trees across the rainfall gradient in Panama and collecting plant tissue…

    Congratulations to Megan O’Connell, OSU biology major and budding tropical ecologist. Megan has been awarded an internship at STRI for the summer of 2013.  Megan will be working with us on the drought responses of seedlings project.  Way to go Megan!
