The OSU Environmental Sciences Graduate Program (ESGP) is pleased to invite
you to the September 2021 Newport Beach Cleanup!
Located 60 miles from Corvallis, Newport is a hub for marine research, private
and commercial fishing, and ocean recreation. This also means that there is
marine debris in need of removal. That’s where you come in! Please consider a
day of your time for a beach cleanup and lunch.
Date: September 25, 2021
Time: 10am to 2:30pm
Location: South Beach State Park (South Jetty), Newport OR
Activities Scheduled:
- Beach cleanup 10:00am-12:00pm
- Brown Bag Lunch/Snacks (Only snacks/drinks will be provided, so please
bring your own lunch) 12:30pm-2:30pm

Note: This schedule may change with little notice due to possible weather and COVID-19
regulation concerns. You will be notified of changes as they occur. Be prepared to bring proper
weather attire, water, and a face covering. We are required to follow all OSU regulations for safety.
