January Events for COH Students
Check out the COH events calendar to see what’s happening these days! Here are some coming up:
Spring Break in Puerto Rico
The COH and the College of Agricultural Sciences are co-sponsoring a faculty-led study abroad opportunity in Puerto Rico from March 21-30, 2025! The focus of the study is Island Resilience: Exploring Health, Sustainability, & Food Security in Puerto Rico. If you’re interested in this opportunity, you may attend an info session on January 14 from 4-5 PM in STAG 240 (Zoom link also available).

Ask Alumni Panel
The COH is pleased to host the first Ask Alumni panel of 2025 on Wednesday, January 22 at 6 PM. This is a wonderful chance to learn about career opportunities directly from COH alumni who are now full-time professionals contributing greatly to their communities. Feel free to register for this event.

United Community Action Network (UCAN) AmeriCorps
Are you interested in joining AmeriCorps (known to some as the US-based version of Peace Corps), an excellent public service initiative and potential bridge to your next career move? There are three (3) opportunities–two (2) in Douglas County (UCAN Eligibility Navigator and Outreach Lead) and one (1) in Jackson County (Environmental Education Specialist) beginning February 3. You may access the applications from the links above.
