We made it, Beavs! This term has really flown by. We hope it was rewarding and that you’ve got some meaningful summer plans on the horizon (even if it means mostly relaxing). Bingo and Bites: World Cuisine and Prizes

Bingo and Bites, coordinated by the Hungry Passport (i.e., the Nutrition major cohort), will bring together the Corvallis community to encourage exposure to globally diverse cultural foods and offer rounds of bingo with exceptional prizes and a silent auction full of donations from local businesses. Bingo and Bites will happen on Thursday, June 4 at 6 PM at the Corvallis Community Center. All proceeds of this event will be donated to Prelude, an eating disorder treatment and recovery community. Public Health Professional Panel

On Wednesday, June 3 from 11 AM–1 PM in HFC 115, all are welcome to check out an informal panel hosted by a student team working with Dr. Jonathan Garcia and Ashley Vaughn as part of their Systemic Mentorship Community of Practice. Featuring Dr. Jeff Bethel, Dr. Chunhuei Chi, and Dr. Josh Jorgensen, these professionals focus on on Public Health Misinformation as an issue addressed through relationship-building. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and accommodations for disabilities and dietary restrictions may be made.

Apply for the Early Care and Education Explore Program

The Early Care and Education (ECE) Explore Program is a unique partnership between OSU’s Family Resource Center and the School of Human Development and Family Sciences. ECE Explore allows for the immersion into Infant and Toddler Programs at Azalea ECE Center and facilitated engagement with ECE and HDFS professionals; it’s structured to explore facets of the ECE field, focusing on infants and toddlers. This 10-week opportunity happens over one term during the 2026–27 academic year with an accompanying stipend of $750. Interested? Free Virtual Meditation Training

Need something to soothe the soul before finals? How to Meditate is a calm, progressive mindfulness training with meditation teacher, Will Duncan, and Marigold Director, Kate Gallagher. Supporting a flourishing practice, comprehension of a meditative path, and community, this is relevant to beginner and experienced meditators alike. Held via Zoom on Monday, June 1 at 5:30 PM, this free training is open to all. Register for How to Meditate here.
