IPIP Results & Reactions

I did the short version of the IPIP test, which include 120 questions, asked some things like an emotional, task, and daily questions. The result of my test is I have an average score on all five categories, I am a personality type who likes to be with others but also like to take time to be alone; Stress and pressure may make me feel upset for a while, but I am able to recover from these fast and get ready for next task; I like to help other people, but unwilling to sacrifice myself for others; I am reasonable reliable, organized and self-controlled; My thoughts are neither simple nor complex, usually appear to be a well-educated person in front of others.

I do believe that my potential employer would like my ability to recover from stress fast, because there is a lot of stress at daily task and I am sure that company wouldn’t stop just for you, so get back from stress is really important for the workplace. They may also think my self-controlled and organized skills can help manage the company well. For people who like to have a plan before every step, they are really good to manage themselves and the people around them, to boost everyone’s tasks speed, done every task faster and accurate, which we know both two things are important for daily work. I think these could be my advantage for my career, these good sides may help me to get a job position in the future.

I think my weakness would be not like to sacrifice myself for others, I mean this sounds a good idea in today’s society, everyone does not want to get into trouble. However, if you are very good with one person in your workplace, and he is getting into big trouble, you are the only person he can trust but you do not want to help him solve the problem, he might get hate you and everyone in the workplace may think you as a cold-blood person, we really don’t want that happen because we work as a team, being isolated have no benefits to us.
