Typical vs. Maximal Performance

If you ask me, I would like to pick Jaime to be my guy for some reason. First, in the workplace, at most times, the chance of emergency would be extremely low, so I like a person who acting perfectly at normal daily work. Second, I am the kind of person who likes to manage my business to reduce the chance of an emergency happen, if an emergency does happen, I would like to hire an external firm or person to help me overcome the emergency. Third, it takes way to company resource to feed a person who only can acting well during an emergency but not normal daily work, I rather put these resource to other department or valuable employee.

However, it doesn’t mean a person who likes Avery is useless, people who can deal with an emergency are actually very good at planning because they have to act quickly to deal with any things that may happen during the emergency. A job I can think of is diplomatist, this job requires high potential and high performance to deal with any things that may happen during the negotiation cause we know people are not going to follow what they plan, there always surprise at the negotiation.

There are a lot of jobs like Jaime’s performance, suck as government employees. For most government employees, the only thing they need is to do is finish their daily requirements, like post officers meet the delivery requirement for the day. Most jobs require high consistency. However, there are still people who are master both types, these people are rare, so if you can meet one, better to hire them.
