OSU College of Pharmacy Homecoming Celebrations!
The weekend of October 19-20, 2018 marked Homecoming at Oregon State University. Pharmacy graduates from the classes of 1958, ’68, ’78, ’88, ’98, and ’08 gathered on campus for a number of pharmacy related homecoming activities, and some had the opportunity to reconnect with old friends after 50 years!

On Saturday, Oct 20th, 2018 the OSU College of Pharmacy classes of ’68, ’78, ’88, ’98, and ’08 shared breakfast in the Horizon Room of the Memorial Union. These alumni enjoyed mingling with faculty and administration. A special aspect of the social included having current P2 pharmacy students join them for breakfast to share stories of past and present pharmacy school experiences.

Alumni gathered in room 305 where they were welcomed back to the college by Interim Dean Mark Leid (’89) and current pharmacy students. Guests also listened to a presentation from our Women in Pharmacy group and were presented with the Rx For Success initiative which, in partnership with Oregon Dress for Success, aims to assist current OSU/OHSU College of Pharmacy students in starting a professional wardrobe.

Next year, the College will host the reunions of the “9s”! If you are in the classes of 1959, 1969, 1979, 1989, 1999, or 2009, look for emails and postcards with reunion details for your class. To serve as a reunion greeter, please contact Paige Clark, (’85) Director of Alumni Relations, OSU College of Pharmacy. Now is the time to update your contact information with the College to ensure you receive the most up-to-date information!
