Celebrating the Life of Daniel Haddad (’52)

Daniel HaddadDaniel Charles Haddad graduated from Oregon State University College of Pharmacy in 1952. During his time at OSU, he was a member of the Kappa Psi pharmacy honorary and Acacia Fraternity. After graduation he served two years in the United States Army. In 1954 he began his career as a pharmacist working at Baker’s Pharmacy in Eugene, later becoming a partner. In 1958 he also became also a partner in Everett’s Villa Pharmacy.

Dan was an active member of his community and touched the lives of many who knew him. He was an avid booster and follower of Oregon State sports and a long-time Beaver Club member. He was a lifetime member of the Eugene Elks, Masonic Blue Lodge 395, Central Presbyterian Church and Kader Klowns of Al Kader Shrine Temple. As a Kader Klown, he enjoyed visiting the children patients at the Shriner’s Hospital as “McFuzz.”

Dan passed away February 4, 2013 at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife Dolores and their children, Charles and Susan.
