OSU Paver installed on the East Terrace of the APhA Headquarters in D.C.

After setting the ambitious goal to raise enough funds to purchase a paver on the East Terrace of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) building on the National Mall in Washington D.C., OSU student pharmacists have been hard at work to see it realized. This past June, the students achieved their goal through a series of bake sales and donations from Phi Lamda Signa and Rho Chi.  The paver is engraved with “Oregon State University College of Pharmacy: GO BEAVS!” and is now on display on the East Terrace.

OSU student pharmacists are becoming more involved every year with national pharmacy organizations and have been diligently working to increase recognition and respect for the OSU College of Pharmacy throughout the nation and the APhA East Terrace paver puts the OSU College of Pharmacy on national display. The East Terrace is freely accessible to the public, so stop by and visit it the next time you are in the nation’s capital!
