Dr. Paul Jungnickel (‘72) elected as President-Elect of the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society

Dr. Paul W. Jungnickel was recently elected and installed as President-Elect of the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society at the Society’s Annual Meeting on March 11, 2012 in New Orleans.  In this capacity, Dr. Jungnickel will serve a six-year term of office, which include two-year each as President Elect, President, and Immediate Past President.  Founded in 1922, Rho Chi is the sole academic honor society for the profession of pharmacy.  Dr. Jungnickel was inducted into the Oregon State University (Beta) Chapter of Rho Chi in 1971.

Dr. Jungnickel received his BS degree in pharmacy from Oregon State University in 1972.  He also holds an MS degree in hospital pharmacy and a PhD degree in post-secondary education administration.  Currently, Dr. Jungnickel is Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy.
