NIH Funding Awarded to Tooth Development Project

Dr. Mark Leid has received NIH (National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research; NIDCR) funding totaling $291,451 from 1 May 2011 until 30 April 2014 for his project: “The Ctip2/Bcl11b transcriptional network in tooth development.”

“We will use this money to identify proteins that interact with Ctip2/Bcl11b during mouse tooth development, in which Ctip2/Bcl11b plays a major role,” Leid says.
