Acknowledgements

Oregon State University and the OSU ADA30 Celebratory Symposium Committee would like to acknowledge the hard work and support offered by various Oregon State University campus offices, as well as from Corvallis community organizations while planning and implementing the ADA30 Celebratory Symposium. Thank you OSU Media Services for coordinating CART captioning and ensuring tech support during each session. Thank you LNS CART Captioning for providing captioning services during every session throughout the month of May. We also want to thank the ASL interpreters at Willamette Valley Sign Language Interpreting Services for signing at multiple sessions. Thank you to our collaborators at the OSU Disability Archives, Lzz Johnk and Natalia Fernández, for providing the opportunity for presenters to donate their presentation to the Disability Archives.

We also want to thank the symposium’s sponsors, which includes OSU Disability Access Services, Office of Equal Opportunity and Access, and the Office of Audit, Risk, and Compliance. Thank you for the financial support needed for a successful university-wide symposium.

We want to extend a warm thank you to the symposium’s opening keynote speaker, Dr. Liat Ben-Moshe, and our closing keynote speaker, Dr. Therí Alyce Pickens, for their critically insightful presentations. Both Dr. Pickens and Dr. Ben-Moshe’s presentations helped guide the important conversations needed to impart impactful change around disability.

Finally, we thank all symposium presenters. All of your presentations shaped the ideas shared and discussed during the symposium. We also want to acknowledge and thank the symposium attendees for joining us throughout May. It has been a joy providing a virtual space to spark curiosity and share visions around accessible futures at Oregon State University, and the OSU ADA30 Committee greatly appreciates everyone that made this symposium possible.
