Hello again, mandatory blog entry. You know when I say it like that, it almost sounds like I don’t like writing these blogs. Which is totally not the case, I adore writing these entries, especially when I am crunched for time.
With my sarcastic opening over, I do think that writing these blog posts helps me reflect and slow down. Recently slowing down and reflecting is not something I have been doing as much as I should be, work is crazy and on top of that one of my groupmates still hasn’t pushed his code to the github. He has posted screenshots of his app running on the android emulator so I guess either he just hasnt pushed his code (despite our multiple requests for him to do so) or he spent a lot of time making very convincing photoshops of the app.
For my part, I have been busy with my portion of the app; a screen listing nearby bicycles and a screen to checkout a bicycle. I spent the past week making the screens visual appealing (enough) and passing data relating to a bicycle entry between the two screens. I successfully integrated Firebase into my screens and am now generating bicycle list entries from our group’s database. Im going to end it here as I have to log off, hope to have a more detailed post next week.
