The Easy-Bake Oven was invented by Ronald Howes and manufactured by the company Kenner. Hasbro later bough Kenner and began re-designing the oven to meet the times. The Easy-bake Oven was always marketed towards young girls and portrayed them as the only ones to bake. In 2012 the Easy-Bake Oven began related a new gender-neutral oven which also included boys in the advertisements. The Easy-Bake Oven has been around for move than 50 years and has been put on the list of the top 100 best toys of all time.
