The Big Enchilada & Our Next Meeting
As part of the College of Education’s Homecoming events, Mike O’Malley will discuss education as the next big investment opportunity in late-stage capitalism. His lecture is entitled The Big Enchilada: Technology, Neo-Liberalism and Education. It will take place at 10 AM on Friday, October 25 in Furman 202.
Our regular CLD work group meeting will take place afterward in Furman 200, so we can hear our beloved colleague speak on this important topic. One of the questions we’ve been pondering is how these “investment” issues particularly affect the increasingly diverse student population in our schools.
