Thanks to those who attended our first presentation. The audience included 22 people representing scientists, outreach and social media specialists, writers, instructors and students (many wore “multiple hats”). The group got charged up with new ideas for their own projects as well as future collaborative projects. And there is always great discussion when you bring a group together to discuss social media. It demonstrated the importance of this group at OSU.

Hi! I heard about this blog through Jessica Reimer in Zoology, is there is listserv I can join to be kept up to date on meetings and stuff?
Yes, I will add you to the list.
Currently we have a database and not a listserv. We will think about how best to coordinate the group.
