New Col(Lab)oration Team Members – Shaun Eisner and Libby Mills

Shaun has joined the Col(Lab)oration as a postdoctoral researcher, having recently finished his PhD in Physical Oceanography at the University of Maryland. Shaun will be working on research related to phytoplankton ecology from remote sensing. Broadly, his research interest is in understanding how phytoplankton respond to changes in ocean physics, such as mixed layer depth, wind forcing, upwelling, etc.

Libby Mills has joined the Col(Lab)oration! Libby is an undergraduate student at OSU studying Biological Data Sciences. She will be working with Dr. Jason Graff to assemble a globally extensive phytoplankton pigments database. Libby will use this dataset to guide their independent research project on surface ocean plankton ecology.
