Hot and Humid- Day two

imageA sauna of a day spent walking down town! After breakfast we headed down to the historic court house in St. Louis. This housed some very important court cases in civil war times. And was built and maintained from the early 1900’s.
After that we walked down to the famous Gateway arch. I personally loved the history and was amazed by the architecture. I personally am afraid of heights and get very claustrophobic. But I knew I would probably never be back in St. Louis or have the opportunity to to see the arch from the top! So I ponied up and avoided thinking about what was actually happening and knew it would all be over soon enough!image
After that we headed to the river boat tour on the Mississippi River! The tour had some interesting parts but not as much as I had hoped for.
From there we went to Monsanto’s research facility where we toured and learned tons about the company and its history. It was pleasant to have so many myths debunked I wish the general public cared to know the truth about agriculture. It’s amazing how many people with loud voices are uneducated to something so necessary.image
