Last Tuesday I had a surgical procedure done on my wrist to remove a cyst, and haven’t been overly productive since.
Cysts are pretty common on the wrist, and usually they are no big deal. In my case, it was mostly fine unless I moved my wrist a certain way or had it bent at to either extreme and then it hurt quite a bit. I have always put off having it removed because I figured I was always too busy to be able to take two weeks off of work (as a consultant, I was billing by the hour). I was going to have it done in 2019 but the pandemic made short work of that idea. I have twin 7 year olds and they are always wanting to play and wrestle and generally “jump all over daddy”, so now that they are back in school, its time to just get it done.
So here I am, slowly pecking out this blog post. Time to go lie down.
