Hi there blogging world, my name is Johan Park and this is my very first Blog post for the Capstone course at OSU!

This will be my last quarter at OSU and will be graduating after this term, which I am very excited for.

Coming into this course, I did not have much prior knowledge about what to expect, other than reading posts online about what I might expect this term, and what sort of team requirements this course will entail.

After taking some time to read through the lengthy list of project proposals, I was able to see what types of projects there are to choose from and to my surprise it really seems like there is something for everybody! Whether you want to keep it more simple, or go for something with technologies you’ve never used before. I found that very exciting, and definitely shows that the range of abilities can vary greatly. I’ve had some courses with folks who are already in the software development industry, so tackling much more difficult projects seems exciting for those more experienced folks.

As for me, I am quite a beginner – intermediate level for almost all of the technologies I’ve learned and used throughout this entire program. Since we’ve used various tools and languages, I always seem to forget syntax and language specific details so relearning technologies is something I’m used to and I am also not opposed to learning new technologies! I have still yet to join a project group, but am looking forward to this term, and hopefully getting the chance to build something really neat!
