The symposium will be primarily held in the platform Remo.
Remo does require that all attendees register with an email. You can create a profile ahead of time here, where you can add some background information and link your social media profiles.
We’ve created a website specifically for the 2021 symposium which will go live the day before the symposium. It will contain the schedule, poster presentations, and all the links you’ll need to access Remo and the live portions of the symposium. If you’re registered we’ll send you the link in an email. Otherwise it will be posted here.
Oral Presentations
Oral presentations will be held in Zoom.
Presenters will have 12 minutes to present with 3 minutes for questions.
Poster Presentations
Poster presentations will be held via the website and Remo.
Each presenter will have a webpage within the symposium website to post their poster in image format as well as any supplemental materials like text, audio files, links, or videos that they would like. Each poster page will have a chat associated with it for viewers to ask questions. These will be available for the entire symposium. During the scheduled poster presentation time, presenters will be expected to be in Remo at their assigned table so they can chat live with attendes. We ask that presenters try to be available during the presentation slots on both days. The tables work similar to breakout rooms, presenters will be able to talk and see video for others at their table, and can share their screen.
Please see here for a sample poster presentation page. Please contact us if you have further questions.
