Dr. Navneet Kaur, Principal Investigator Field Crops Entomology Program

Kaur’s extension and research program focus on insect biology and ecology, host plant resistance, and insect biocontrol for the insect pest management in field crops grown for seed production in Western Oregon (mainly grass seed, leguminous crops, and other specialty crops aiming to provide up-to-date, research-based information to Oregon growers on effective and sustainable IPM practices.

Alison Willette, Faculty Research Assistant 

Alison leads active research projects in the field crops entomology program. She is the lab manager and supervises graduate and undergrad students in the program.

Grace Tiwari, Graduate Student

Grace Tiwari is from Kathmandu, Nepal. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Crop Science with a specialization in Entomology at Oregon State University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Science from Agriculture and Forestry University. In 2020, she did my internship at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Grace has also worked as Livelihood Program Manager at a nonprofit organization in Nepal. Grace is a passionate advocate for sustainable agriculture and food security. Her hobbies are hiking, swimming, and cooking momo.
