The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition is hosting its third annual planting of native shrubs and grasses at the Dunawi Creek Regeneration Project site in the Bald Hill Natural Area!
The goal of this project is to regenerate the Dunawi Creek, along with its associated biodiversity and environmental benefits, by bringing it back from underground agricultural pipes to its natural above-ground location. In order to achieve this, the team will plant about 650 shrubs and grasses as they expand the reach of the project toward the headwaters.
OVER 100 VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!
WHEN: Sunday, November 18, 1-4pm
WHERE: Dunawi Creek Regeneration Project site on the City’s Bald Hill Natural Area adjacent to the Midge Cramer Trail between the Benton County Fairgrounds and Bald Hill (see image below)
