Oregon State University recognizes the importance of promoting environmental, social, and economic sustainability, as injustices and inequalities in these areas remain prevalent in the United States and around the world. Many OSU students also believe in the importance of spreading awareness and integrating sustainable practices into their own everyday lives; perhaps this sounds like you!
Other students have heard about sustainability, but are not sure what it means, why it is important, or how they can get involved. It is a complex subject that encompasses multiple interrelated disciplines, so it may seem difficult to find centralized information and resources on everything Sustainability at OSU.
Join us at the 2018 Sustainability Fair to become aware of resources, network with on and off-campus organizations, and learn about principles of sustainability through fun, hands-on activities. There will be clubs and organizations, an art area, games, music, and snacks! Learn about renewable energy with a tour of the OSU Solar Trailer or a ride on the Sustainability Office’s bike generator! Happenings will include, but are certainly not limited to:
- Craft activities
- Button making
- Give-aways
- Cornhole
- Snacks
- Bike generator
- Games
- Music
