OSU received 98 points out of a possible 99 as a ‘green’ school in the latest edition of “The Princeton Review’s Guide to 322 Green Colleges: 2013 Edition.” The Princeton Review analyzes data from the survey about the schools’ course offerings, campus infrastructure, activities and career preparation to measure their commitment to the environment and to sustainability.
You can find OSU’s info on page 102 of the 217 page document and see the OSU press release.
Part of what has made OSU a sustainability leader is the volume and breadth of sustainability related work conducted here. Our faculty and staff achieve amazing things that align with OSU’s mission to promote economic, social, cultural and environmental progress for the people of Oregon, the nation and the world. That, combined with an ever increasingly engaged student population has helped maintain OSU’s leadership in sustainability. Nice work everyone!
