For those familiar with The Story of Stuff, March 22 marked the release of a similar video about the global impacts of bottled water. In her remarkably concise and fun format, Annie Leonard packs an amazing amount of information into just a few minutes in The Story of Bottled Water.
Annie was gracious enough to visit Oregon and speak at the 2008 Oregon University System sustainability conference at UO in Eugene.
Students at OSU and elsewhere are expressing deeper interest in taking on the issues of bottled water with a variety solutions including taxes, sales bans, and awareness campaigns. The next few months will be an interesting time for this topic.
