Annual Plant Sale – May 10th, 10am to 2pm
Our annual plant sale is just about here. This year if will be held at the new greenhouse, located at Gold Beach Community Center, 29841 Airport Way. We need your help for set up on Friday, May 9th, and for the sale on Saturday, May 10th. Please go to the Teamup calendar to sign up. If you have already signed up, thank you!
On Friday May 9th at 2 pm, we need several people with trailers or pickups to bring borrowed tables from the library to the greenhouse. The rest of us will be moving tables and plants, and placing signage. After our preparations, volunteers will be able to shop for plants before the sale opens to the public on Saturday.
Saturday volunteers will start at 9:00 with an orientation. We will provide water, coffee, and light snacks on Saturday for our volunteers. The sale opens at 10:00, and if you’ve been there, you know it is really busy for the first couple of hours. The sale ends at 2:00, and we will need people with trucks and trailers to help return the cleaned tables to the library after the sale.
This is our main fundraiser for the year and we can’t do it without you! You can sign up for either Friday or Saturday or both! On Teamup, please use first and last name, and indicate if you have a truck or trailer and can help with the tables.
