This website is a hub for resources to support employees and departments in operationalizing a Culture of Care across the University. OSU has many benefits and policies that provide care and support for employees. Departments and teams can also adopt their own unique practices that demonstrate a Culture of Care by fostering connections, generating awareness, showing respect and promoting empathy.
Building a Culture of Care means creating an environment where employees feel valued and where caring and compassion are prioritized. Existing policies and programs need supportive leadership who will explore, model, support, and communicate them. Each department or team will have a different way of integrating a culture of care into their team dynamics works.
