Oregon State University Extension Service – August 2017 – Present

Outreach Program Coordinator – Small Farms &  Groundwater Protection Education

  • Groundwater Protection Outreach program delivered to the community via outreach clinic  tables at local events, targeted neighborhood based screenings, and free community classes.                              
  • Groundwater Protection Education Intern Program Manager – 1 to 3 interns per summer. 
  • Co-coordinate annual Oregon Small Farms conference including recruiting instructors, reserve facilities, vendor recruitment, catering coordination with local farms, marketing, registration, and other logistics. 800 online attendees in 2021. 1,000 in-person in 2020
  • Production, editing, design and layout of the quarterly Oregon Small Farms News online newsletter.
  • Write content and maintain the statewide Small Farms, Southern Willamette Valley Groundwater Management Area, and local Southern and Mid-Willamette Valley County Extension websites.

  • Groundwater Protection Education to youth grades 6 through 12. I developed a local curriculum and worked with teachers in the Linn, Benton, and Lane county areas to deliver the educational program with service learning opportunities.
