Wow, I can’t believe this is my last blog post! This feels like it has been the fastest term that I have ever experienced at OSU. It seems like it was just last week that we were put into teams.
Down to the last couple of weeks of this term it is safe to say that our Capstone project will be completed with no hiccups. I am working on finishing up the last page assigned to myself. It is a relatively easy page from a UI/UX perspective the challenge more so comes from the back end of handling Shelter deletion.
With the removal of a Shelter I will need to also traverse through all of the pets available and remove the ones associated with that Shelter. I have not started on the logic for it yet, for my current focus has been on getting the UI set up and establish filters to display only information that an Admin would like to see in regards to Users. I followed the template that one of my teammates utilized for listing pets for a given Shelter. And actually now saying that out loud it has already got the gears turning in my head to use similar logic to get/delete all of a shelters animals.
Well since this is the last blog post I will be making I would like to say that my time at Oregon State University has been great. I have learned so much that has already benefited me so much not only financially but also has given me an excellent outlook on my professional life which I feel as if I was missing from my previous careers. So with that I would like to say thank you OSU!
