- I recently applied for a position in the customer service logistic role at Stahlbush Farms in Corvallis, Oregon. right of the bat, I applied for this role through the online platform Handshake. When I was given a call, I had a nice conversation with one of the recruiters there. She asked me a couple questions and made it known to me that there were actually two roles open, the customer service logistics roll, and a retail marketing role. My availability to work was not capability with that customer service role, but she suggested I continue with the process in doing this other position. Since then, I have had a zoom interview with the two managers in that department, alongside an in-person interview most recently at their actual offices.
- I really enjoyed the conversation I had with their recruiter, in addition, I did really appreciate their desire to want to have an in-person interview sooner rather than later, as that wasn’t how any of my other experiences went and felt that it meant they had a considerable amount of trust in me to come in despite covid-19 still being prevalent in the world today. Despite not technically now going for the role I originally applied in, I think that this application process in particular has been a great experience for myself to learn more about the company in addition to being able to meet a bunch of different individuals in the various departments within Stahlbush. It has made not only the job offer more enticing, but I think even more so the company itself has been made more interesting and desirable to me per their very empathetic approach towards their applicants.
Hey Andrew,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the application experience at Stahlbush Farms. It was really nice to see how generally good experience with the application process can lead to a person being more interested in the role and even the company that they are going to be working for.
Again thanks for the great post and have a great week.
