OSU College of Pharmacy’s CE department, via a pilot project funded via partnership with the Oregon Health Authority’s division of public health focused on Tobacco Cessation, has driven the development of the billing model for Oregon pharmacists to successfully bill for their patient assessment services associated with prescribing tobacco cessation products. The article included in this newsletter speaks about the pilot project with AssureCare. Both the PillBox pharmacies in Oregon, and Grants Pass Pharmacy, are successfully trained and are able to bill for their services via this project.
