2019 OSU College of Pharmacy Apothecary Ball

On the evening of March 2nd, 2019, guests gathered at the Collaborative Life Sciences Building on OHSU’s waterfront campus for the pharmacy social event of the year. The 2019 OSU College of Pharmacy Apothecary Ball brought together pharmacy students, alumni, OSU faculty, corporate partners, and other pharmacy professionals for an opportunity to enjoy delicious fiesta foods and Salsa dancing lessons. We were honored to be joined by OSU College of Pharmacy Legacy Families whose connection to the College is multi-generational.

The theme “Pharmacy Fiesta,” was chosen by pharmacy students, who held a silent auction and raffle for guests. This year’s auction featured items from companies and businesses. Prizes included exciting items such as assorted wine and food baskets, tickets to an Oregon rodeo, Apple Airpods, and a Shakespeare festival package! Guests also had the chance to play games to win prizes, captured memories at the photo booth, and indulged at the churro cart. All funds raised at the event support student outreach activities.

Before the fun began, OSU College of Pharmacy Recent Graduate Leaders and student mentees met for a reception with wine and hors d’oeuvres. This was a great opportunity for students to expand their professional network and for recent grads to reconnect with each-other and to meet the current students in the program!
