Apothecary Ball 2018

OSU College of Pharmacy’s annual Apothecary Ball 2018 ‘Mediterranean Nights’ at our OSU/OHSU Collaborative Life Sciences Building – OHSU waterfront campus

On the evening of March 3, 2018, guests gathered at the Collaborative Life Sciences Building on OSHU’s waterfront campus for the pharmacy event of the year! The 2018 Apothecary Ball brought together students, alumni, OSU faculty, corporate partners, and other pharmacy professionals for an opportunity to mingle and enjoy delicious Greek food and live music. We were honored to be joined by Legacy Families, whose connection to OSU College of Pharmacy has gone back for more than 3 generations for some.

The theme “Mediterranean Nights,” was facilitated by Pharmacy students, who held a silent auction and raffle for guests. Prizes included exciting items such as assorted wine and food baskets, tickets to a local water park, passes to a dance cruise, and tickets to an OSU Football game! Guests played had the opportunity to partake in yard games for prizes, made memories at the photo booth, and indulged at the s’mores cart, which was sponsored by Recent Graduate Leaders. All funds raised at the event support student outreach activities.

Before the fun began, the Recent Graduate Leaders and their student mentees met for a reception on the 5^th floor for wine and hors d’oeuvres. This was a great opportunity for students expand their professional network and for recent grads to connect with current students in the program!
